Description:

This course is designed to critically assess the institutional forces that shape and create the demand for information technology (IT).  It will also discuss how the consumption of IT impacts economy and society.  

The course will help participants think about how changing social and economic conditions determine what technologies are consumed and how they are consumed, who consumes them and where they are consumed.
