NEW MATERIAL!

New course student project resources:

Goal #1. To identify the problem area (researchable questions)

Material suggested by summer students has been assembled on a website:

Shortly before she died, aged 27, in the same month, the bombs killed five of her patients. Tram helped move the remaining patients and staff to safety and fought an American ground unit as it approached the now deserted hospital.

She was shot in the forehead ..." http://www.vietnam-usa.org/indexgb.html

Goal #1. To identify the problem area (researchable questions)

"We hear of a poor boy who was caught stealing wheat grain. They cut off his ears and nose and put shackles on him and made him a slave. Columbus ran the colony with an iron fist." http://www.UnitedNativeAmerica.com United Native America: Increasing the Visibility of Indigenous Peoples from throughout the Caribbean Region and the Diaspora in the Spirit of Our Ancestors.

The Scientific Method Protocols:

3. literature review of research
4. develop methodology
5. data collection and analysis
6. analysis

The Lindblom Protocol

**********************

It is anticipated that this project shall generate new theory in Psychology and, by classification vertically, an implication in new theory in Philosophy.
The theory shall be known as General Systems Theory Squared (GST2).

New theory, of course, is step-by-step. This summer BETA shall be part of that graduated process. The intent is to monitor an ongoing situation (such as Juarez), to explore the history of the situation and to identify (ultimately) protocols: Goal #1. To identify the problem area (researchable questions) Goal #2. To devise methods for research. Lindblom

Goal #2. To devise methods for research

Yet another method has been discovered by the students! Lindblom

Gender Analysis:

**********************

There are two course goals left:

The first two goals, most likely, are enough for a summer BETA test. All four goals would be foci in a regular semester course. Lindblom

Goal #3. To gather data (and data analysis)

Goal #4. To discuss results.
