Biography:

After working in the African Internet policy environment for the last three years, I came to London in 2003 to work with GreenNet, Privacy International, the APC and others on developing the UK’s Internet rights program. The project aims to ensure that the Internet remains a free and open space where civil society organisations and social movements in the UK can enjoy their right to maximum expression on issues of public interest. A major objective of the project involves the training and dissemination of information tools and resources to civil society groups in the UK that emphasize the relevance of local, regional and international Internet law to human rights issues.

First Internet Memory:

I was a final year undergraduate majoring in drama and journalism - wanted to reject the technology trend because I thought it wasn't creative. Eventually I had to go online for my cyber publishing course and I wasn't all that impressed to start - but its my life and work now and I am officially hooked!
