Question

The Berkman Center is proud to announce the 1.0.1 release of the H2O system.

The 1.0.1 release is the latest stable release and includes the following changes since the last release:

* free text post search
* poll based routing
* expel on skip rotisserie option
* project deletion
* various small bug and ui fixes

http://h2o.law.harvard.edu is now running the 1.0.1 release.

Starting with this announcement, all release announcements will be posted as short rotisseries in H2O meta to give folks the opportunity to discuss the new release.

This is all small but important stuff.  The utility of the search stuff is evident (and was very easy to implement thanks to the jakarta lucene project!).  The poll based routing is huge b/c it provides a way to route discussions based on the content of the participants' posts.  The expel on skip option is less important but is handy for large but low participation  projects in which you don't want to keep spamming folks with alerts if they don't want to participate in a given discussion (as evidenced by skipping a round).  Project deletion is nice b/c we can finally start getting rid of some of the testing cruft projects.

Yes, these all seem like helpful additions to the feature set.

I'll go hunting myself, now that I'm thinking about it, but I'd like to know more about how the poll-based routing works.

I was unaware of the Jakarta Lucene project until you mentioned it. Yes, this would add considerably to H2O.
