How do I create a link to a section of a code? You can link directly to statute section by adding an anchor tag (e.g., #chapter.section). For example, to link to section 101 of Chapter 551 of the Transportation Code, include #551.101 so that the entire link is:

Chapter numbers are not unique within Vernon's Texas Civil Statutes; therefore, the format is different. You can link directly to an article by adding an anchor tag (e.g., CV.title.chapter.type#article). - CD: is a unique two letter statute code (eg., "TN" for Transportation Code)
- TYPE: is the htm, pdf, or Word file type only
- #: is the chapter number
- "ext" is the file extension type (i.e., htm, pdf, or doc)
